D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Architecture CAD Manager for their Operations Department. The right candidate will manage

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• 
  
  Plan and direct the activities of the CAD Operators


• 
  
  Create and maintain construction documents within compliance of the International Residential Building Code


• 
  
  Create and maintain sales collaterals to be distributed to Sales Agents


• 
  
  Keep an excellent record of all changes to construction documents in a revision log


• 
  
  Responsible for new design, customer upgrades and daily design changes


• 
  
  Assist other departments with AutoCAD utilities and applications

Supervisory Responsibilities 

Manages 2 or more employees in the Division. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

• 
  
  Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; 5 years minimum service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
  


• 
  
  Excellent communication, organizational  and multi-tasking skills. 
  
  


• 
  
  Strong knowledge of residential design and construction. 
  
  


• 
  
  Must be proficient in AutoCAD with strong drafting skills.
