At Kaleo Masonry we are looking for one exceptional project manager to join our team. The Masonry Project Manager should have a solid understanding of the masonry trade, the construction industry, job site safety requirements, planning and scheduling, building trades, and work sequence. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. This person needs to be proactive, self motivated, strong multi-tasker, and very detail oriented. You need to have strong communication skills to meeting the needs of our clients, trade partners, and interact with our internal team.

The Masonry Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates the development of multiple construction projects and oversees their organization, schedule, and implementation. Daily communication with GC Project Superintendents is required to complete all work on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do At Kaleo Masonry

  • Provide leadership and to establish and maintain positive relationships with all those involved in the project
  • Coordinate with field superintendents and masonry crews to ensure that the teams are fully equipped and prepared to execute the projects successfullylili
  • Have a complete and thorough knowledge and understanding of subcontract documents
  • See that all drawings and specifications are examined, before beginning construction, for design deficiencies, impractical details, and possible code violations
  • Ensuring the project schedule incorporates dates and times for GC decisions, availability of design information, procurement of materials and subcontracts, lead times for fabrication, and field installation
  • Ensure quality control measures are implemented and maintained throughout the life of the project
  • Utilize skills to run multiple projects as efficiently as possible
  • Maintain administrative processes related to the project

Experience You Should Have

  • Minimum 3-5 years in construction project management or masonry required
  • Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and motivate teams of people
  • Strong understanding of the construction process
  • Project management software experience strongly preferred; Planswift, Buildertrend, Procore, & Bluebeam.
  • Ability to read and understand construction schedules.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed. If you are on top of your jobs, long hours will be limited and rare.
