Summary

The Quality Control Auditor will learn pallet standards and uphold quality via observation and inspections and perform pallet builder audits daily

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Sort wooden pallets

· Separate damaged pallets

· Identify the difference between pallet grades

· Separating pallets by grades

· Place pallet on rollers, lifting pallets to perform a quality check, remove defective boards, and corrects nail-related issues

· Add additional responsibilities, as needed

Conducting Audits and training new builders

Experience and Qualifications

· Previous knowledge of pallet grades preferred, but not required

· Previous experience using a hammer, saw, nail guns, and/or pneumatic tools is preferred

· Must be comfortable working in a labor-intensive environment

· Must be comfortable lifting, pulling, and pushing pallets weighing 50-75 lbs. on a regular basis

· Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time
