D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Sales Area Selling Manager. The right candidate will be responsible for managing the sales process, hiring, training, managing and motivating sales staff in a specific geographic area while providing excellent customer service. The Sales Area Selling Manager continuously sources new customers, helps customers find and design their dream home, and ensures a smooth sales process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Recruit and hire future sales representatives
• Train and motivate sales representatives
• Meet or beat set sales goals, and including selling and closing homes under area of responsibility
• Create new sales incentives for neighborhoods
• Conduct realtor outreach (realtor breakfasts, lunches, office presentations)
• Collaborate with the marketing coordinator/manager and division manager on advertising campaigns
• Introduce and promote marketing promotions to the sales representatives
• Stage grand openings and promote new phases
• Perform competitive analysis on product, features and neighborhoods/amenities
• Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition, product vision and capabilities to potential customers
• Uncover and understand customer goals and challenges then establish DR Horton as the best solution available
• Overcome objections and closes for the sale
• Maintains accurate documentation of transaction from sale through loan, options, and construction
• Continually source new sales opportunities
• Conduct sales meetings
• Manages time efficiently to meet sales goals and works effectively with other members of the team
• Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
• Creates and provides to management a marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships
• Maintains and expands database of prospects
• Develops and maintains good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members
• Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards

Required Qualifications
Expected salary range: $55,000 - $60,000 plus bonus.
