At Mortgage Funding Direct Ventures, LLC we take pride in Operational Excellence and are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have production experience and strong skills in work-plan development and progress tracking. The project coordinator will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels, ensuring that our goal of innovation is achieved. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to multitask effectively.
What You’ll Do
Project Coordination: Coordinate activities and resources across multiple projects within the PMO to ensure timely completion and adherence to project deadlines.
Communication: Assist the Business Process and Implementation Managers in providing project updates, communicating progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders, and other team members.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and status reports. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Status Reporting: Generate regular status reports summarizing project progress, milestones achieved, and upcoming tasks. Provide insights and recommendations to PMO based on project status and performance.
Resource Management: Assist in resource allocation and tracking to ensure projects are adequately staffed and resourced. Coordinate with team members and managers to resolve resource conflicts and dependencies.

You might be just who we’re looking for if you have
Proven experience in project coordination or project management, preferably within a PMO environment
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Businessmap)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Two or more years of experience in project coordination
Experience in coordinating teams and clients
Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field preferred
Experience working with Agile or Scrum methodologies preferred
Familiarity with portfolio management concepts and practices preferred
Previous experience in industries such as technology and/or finance preferred
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.
